Neighborhood Watch
This page is devoted to news of Coquina Sand’s Neighborhood Watch Program. It’s a great place to post news of Coquina happenings that affect safety and wellness.
This is the appropriate place to post if:
- You have news that could affect the community’s wellness, such as a theft or animal attack. Please, though, only post this news if you are the VICTIM of the attack.
- You have a question about community wellness, such as how to report a streetlamp that has burned out or a street sign in need of repair.
- You have a concern about community wellness, such as having sighted a possibly criminal or dangerous act.
Please also check the list below for your Neighborhood Watch Block Volunteer, too!

Here’s a few neighborhood Q & A, courtesy of Neighborhood Watch coordinator Connie Munz:
Do you know …
Q: How large our neighborhood is?
A: U.S. 41 west to Lowdermilk Park. Orchid Drive is the northern boundary and Yucca Road (one block south of Banyan Blvd.) is the southern boundary.
Q: How many of your neighbors belong to the Coquina Sands Association?
A: Many but unfortunately not all.
Q: Safety measures to assist you in securing your home when you are away?
A: Check the National Neighborhood Watch website, http://www.nnwi.org, or the National Sheriff Association’s Neighborhood Watch’s website, http://www.usaonwatch.org, for lots of tips and information.
Q: Current happenings in the City affecting us as homeowners?
A: You can visit http://www.naplesgov.com for online streaming of past City Council meetings and register to receive agendas by email.
I would like to receive safety alerts for our area.
Thanks!
